Hey Disnerds! The school season is finally back in swing! I'm going to try my best to keep updating this blog, but I have loads to do as this is my senior year.
Still, I love this blog and I'm looking forward to continued innovation in the future. As a note, I have now hit three years of running this column, which is crazy. I'm so thankful for all of the people who are reading this blog and I really hope to be able to continue to provide an interesting experience for all of you. I still need to finish my series on The Best of Disney (I'm almost done with Animal Kingdom I promise) and I have a couple other ideas up my sleeve. Let me know if you have any other ideas over on my contact me page; I love hearing from you guys! Before I post anything else, though, here is some important news from Disney World: the famed Main Street Electric Parade will ends its 28 year run on October 9, 2016. Make sure you work in a trip to the park before then to see the amazing show one more time! Hello everyone! Sorry about the major delay in posts recently; it has been exam time and I just haven't had time to post. As summer begins on Wednesday, I promise I will be posting loads! I am going to finish my Best of Disney series for starters, and then I want to follow the new changes to parks happening this summer. To tide you over until that happens, though, check out the Beauty and the Beast teaser Disney released today. See you soon!
Hey Disnerds! Quick update: I am almost done with Part Three of the Disney Weddings series (the honeymoon!), but it's so much information so it takes forever. Hopefully that will be up soon, though. Today is Oscar Sunday, and Disney is up for nine Academy Awards! Make sure to watch the Oscars tonight at 7:00 EST and cheer for the amazing Disney animators, writers, directors, editors, and overall artists that make our world just a little more magical everyday.
For a full list of nominations, click here. Hey Disnerds,
Since I already covered the movies of 2016, I thought I would delve into the amusement parks! Hello Disnerds! We have begun a new semester here at The Chant, so I have to do a shameless plug for our lovely newspaper! We have a couple newbies on staff so keep an eye out for their writing and our new content for 2016. You can check out the website for The Chant here. In other news, 2016 is going to be an awesome year for Disney fans. A number of different movies are coming out in 2016, so get your credit cards ready for a great year! Hello my fellow Disnerds! I am so sorry about the delay in product on this blog! I have been super busy lately, but now things are starting to slow down during the holiday season (that sounds backwards doesn't it?) I'm working on planning some cool posts for the future, especially pertaining to the holidays so you can look forward to that. I'm working with a cool new app called MapJam to make interactive maps for this log, so once I experiment with that a little more productivity should increase. I'm also planning on giving my blog a bit of a cooking spin in the future as I just found a very old copy of Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse Cookbook on my shelves (from 1975!), and I want to test out some of the recipes for the holiday season. While we wait for me to get to work again, take a look at the new Zootopia trailer that came out today (and let me know your opinions because I was a little less-than-impressed with it). Also, The Good Dinosaur comes out in theaters tomorrow, so get pumped for that! My lovely Disnerds,
We have a lot to get caught up on! If you're anything like me, you probably keep yourself updated on Disney news daily, but if not I'm going to try to hit the highlights of the past five months. Strap yourself in and let's get going!
Hey guys!
I made an interactive image detailing the best of the Inside Out Twitter Q&A yesterday. Warning: works best on computers. Hover over each dot to see Pete's responses: Also, Pete Docter, the famed Disney Pixar director, will be holding a twitter Q & A at 1:15! Haver a question? Tweet him at @iTunesTrailers. Stay magical! Hey guys!
Today is an exciting day for Pixar news. The animation company released another trailer for Inside Out. Check it out here: |
